The characters of the story are introduced very quick and there isn’t exactly a way to figure out who they all are. I would say that the characters are the students in the classroom with a main character named Johnny who isn’t afraid of the new teacher because his father was put into a “re-education” camp. Miss Warden is the “old teacher” and the new teacher was referred to as the “New Teacher.” (Quote is below)
